The Holy Birth of Jesus

Luke 2:7And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Jesus was born separated from the world. How Holy it was! People might have judged Mary and Joseph as sinful but in fact they were truly obedient to God. 

Matthew 5:3Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Who were at the presence when baby Jesus was born? There were Joseph and Mary with some animals in the stable. Also the shepherds rushed into there and worshiped Him. They all had a pure heart so that they didn't suspect angel's messages from God and could be a witness of the birth of Jesus the Savior. Further more even the foreign wise men were eager to see the King of Jews in person and worship Him. They didn't wish for any rewards but just wanted to see the Prince to worship. And they changed their ways to home since they had warnings from God in their dreams. 

Matthew 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

Matthew 2:12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. 

The King Herod stands for the wicked world and God protected Jesus and the wise men from his attacks. He didn't just save their lives from Herod but also their path unto holiness from the world. The wise men worshiped young Jesus… The Bible tells us how we should worship the Lord and that is to worship Him by living out holiness in our life. So I believe since they worshiped Jesus in person they changed their way of living into the new one which was sepearated from the world. 

Psalm 96:9Oworship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. 

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 

They really saw God. When we seem to have difficulties, we will remember where the blessings and protection come from. When we have a pure heart, God will protect us from the evil and we will keep on walking the path of holiness.

まことに、まことに、あなたがたに告げます。ーイエス・キリスト

そこで、イエスはまた言われた。「まことに、まことに、あなたがたに告げます。わたしは羊の門です。(ヨハネ10:7)

イエス様が「まことに、まことに、あなたがたに告げます。」と言うとき、私たちがイエス様に対して自分の意見を述べることを望んでいるのではなく、むしろ御言葉に聞き従うことを望んでいるのです。誰もがイエス様の声を聞けるわけではありません。イエス様の羊だけに聞こえるのです。その羊とはへりくだった心を持ち、恵みを受け取って羊飼いに従って行く用意ができているのです。 

 

  しかし、神は、さらに豊かな恵みを与えてくださいます。ですから、こう言われています。「神は、高ぶる者を退け、へりくだる者に恵みをお授けになる。」(ヤコブ4:6)

イエス様は羊の門（KJVではdoorー扉と訳されています）と言っていますが、羊や扉とはどのようなものなのでしょうか？ 

 扉といえば、ノアの箱船が思い浮かぶことでしょう。ノアは扉をくぐって箱船に入り、神が最後にその扉を閉めました。誰もが箱船に入ったわけではなく、ただノアとその家族だけが入ったのでした。ノアは神の御前に完全であり義の（正しい）人でした。ノアは神様の命令をすべて守り抜きました。それとまったく同じように、私たちも扉（イエス様）をくぐるとき、神の目に義であり完全でなければならないのです。 

まことに、まことに、あなたがたに告げます。だれでもわたしのことばを守るならば、その人は決して死を見ることがありません。」(ヨハネ8:51) 

主イエス様は私たちの羊飼いであるとともに、神の子羊でもあります。裁きの座で、イエス様はご自分が着ているような純白でけがれのない衣を私たちも着ているかどうか見ることでしょう。 

 そこで、王は言った。『友よ。あなたは、どうして礼服を着ないで、ここにはいって来たのですか。』しかし、彼は黙っていた。(22:12) 

 この礼服とは、聖潔の実であり、別の言い方をすれば私たちはこの人生をどのように生きてきたかを表すものなのです。 

その後、私は見た。見よ。あらゆる国民、部族、民族、国語のうちから、だれにも数えきれぬほどの大ぜいの群衆が、白い衣を着、しゅろの枝を手に持って、御座と小羊との前に立っていた。(黙示録7:9)
